Problem With Capturing Video With Asymetric DVP/Video For Windows And Video SE100/FS200

Problem

You may encounter the error message "Cannot initialise Capture Driver" when starting Asymetric DVP or Video for Windows capture.

Cause:

The VB SE100 & FS200 installation program will only install the SE100/FS200 overlay capture driver in the Control Panel->Drivers applet. Video Blaster SE100 capture driver & Video Blaster SE100 CODEC driver is not installed.

Solution

Install the capture and CODEC driver by using Control Panel->Drivers->Add and direct the path to the VBSE100\WINDRV directory to install the drivers.
