Setting Up Communication Software To Work With Modem Blaster 19.2 Voice
Problem:
Third-party communication software is not functioning properly with Modem
Blaster 19.2 Voice.
The communication software must be registered with the SoftModem Manager.
SoftModem Manger detects the communication software being loaded and
uploads the appropriate code for the modem.
Solution:
Please follow the procedures below to solve the problem:
- Load the SoftModem Manager located in the Ancilla group.
- Select the "Add file ..." button and locate the communication software
.EXE file.
- In the Answer Mode box, select the appropriate options supported
by the communication package(e.g. data, fax, or voice).
- Select supported remapped ports by the communication software. Most
third-party communication software does not support remapped ports.
