Some users with PnP BIOS machines may not be able to configure their game port device on their PnP audio card using CTCM. This is because there is a resource conflict between the Game port and the PnP Read Data port.
Users who want to make use of the game port may add the (previously) undocumented switch "/B" provided by CTCM at the end of the "device=c:\ctcm\ctcm.exe" statement in config.sys. This parameter will bypass the PnP BIOS and assign the sound card with its own settings. Remember to remove the CTPNP.CFG file before you restart the system.
Note that since CTCM bypasses the PnP BIOS, it will not be able to obtain the system device configuration from the BIOS, and thus there is a risk that it may assign the same resources allocated to these devices to add-on cards.
