It features a software controlled automatic loading tray, a front panel headphone jack and volume control for playback of audio CDs. This popular and easy-to-use multimedia encyclopedia features all 21 volumes of the renowned Academic American Encyclopedia. It includes over 33,000 thoroughly-researched articles written specifically for the Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, more than 8,000 photographs, plus illustrations, animation, sounds, videos, and more.

Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia is organized into categories that you can easily access: graphical timeline, multimedia maps, color and black-and-white pictures, hours of sounds, improved videos, narrated animations, high detail maps, Knowledge Explorer audio-visual essays, word search, list of titles, Pathmakers video interviews with famous experts, and new fact boxes.

QuickCD

An easy-to-use, DOS-and Windows-based CD music player. Allows you to play and control audio CDs on your CD-ROM drive. Includes enhanced features such as a display panel, programmable and random-selection of audio tracks, mouse or keyboard control, bass and treble control, and more.

Blaster CD 4x may be attached directly to Sound Blaster sound cards with an IDE interface. Refer to your Sound Blaster manual for details or contact Creative Labs. Sound Blaster compatible audio cable is included. Consult your computer dealer for an audio cable that matches your sound card.
