Correcting An Out-Of-Sync Monitor In OS/2 Warp With Graphics Blaster

Problem:

Monitor going out of sync when an unsupported resolution or frequency is set in OS/2.

Solution:

Reboot system.
Bring up the Recovery Choices by pressing Alt-F1 when OS/2 is displayed at the top left hand corner of the screen.
Choose the V option for OS/2 to reset to the original VGA setting.
Reinstall the Cirrus Logic 5446 driver at the Display Driver Install icon in the 'System Setup' folder.
Restart system with new driver.
Reselect the desired resolution and frequency at the System icon in the System Setup folder.

It is strongly recommended that you refer to your display monitor manual for a list of supported display mode and frequency before changing the desktop display settings.
