"Null Pointer Assignment" Error When Running CTCU /S

Problem:

You may encounter the following problems when running CTCU.EXE:
  1. "Null pointer assignment" error when running CTCU /S
  2. SET BLASTER statement not present when CTCM is run at the command line.

Solution:

Run CTCM with the /P option to bypass query from the PCI BIOS.

Notes: The /P option is implemented in CTCM.EXE version 1.03 and above. CTCU requires at least 570 KB base memory and HIMEM.SYS in order to load properly.
