Video Speed Problem Between Two Systems With ShareVision
Problem:
During a communication session, video display does not occur at the same speed
on both systems.
Solution:
You may encounter the above problem, although both systems are set to the same
video core size. This can occur under one of the following conditions:
- The slower system is not running at optimum speed.
- The systems are running under two different operating systems, i.e. a
machine running OS/2 is connected to a Windows/DOS machine
To resolve this problem, you should do the following:
- Ensure that slower system is running with the Turbo button, and all
performance options are enabled in the system BIOS, such as internal and
external caching.
- Currently there is no solution to the speed problems when running
ShareVision under two different operating systems. Suggest for the users
to run both systems under the same operating system during ShareVision
connections.
Note:
If your are not sure of the system BIOS setup, please do not change any
of the settings. Creative Labs will not be held responsible for any mishaps
or liabilities which may result from your mistake. Please consult your
System User's Manual, or contact the manufacturer for detailed instructions
