Video Blaster

Video Blaster is a video adapter for PC386 and higher compatibles
which converts a standard full-motion video image (composite video
source) into a format for display on a computer graphics monitor.
It can position and scale the video image onto the output display
and allows the video image to be merged with computer graphics
for interactive multimedia applicaiton. Video Blaster supports
both NTSC and PAL system. It has to work with standard VGA card
that incorporates a feature connector. It accepts composite video,
caters 3 video input sources (video 0, 1, 2). This card has a
constraint of system RAM must not be more than 15 MB.

- VGA card with standard VESA compliant feature connector
- MS DOS 3.1 or PC DOS version 3.1 or later
- VGA or multisync monitor running at 50-70 Hz with horizontal
scanning rate of about 31.5 KHz
- Windows 3.1 or higher installed
- MS Video For Windows 1.0 and above
- Supply Voltage Requirement (Loading): +5, +12, -12 Volt
- Current Consumption (Typical.): 1, 0.28, 0.104 A respectively
- Clocks Frequency: 50 MHz and 26.8 MHz
