The Sound Blaster AWE32 PnP is the company's next-generation wave-table synthesis card and the first in a series of Sound Blaster audio cards to include Plug and Play (PnP) capabilities and full compatibility with Windows 95. Sound Blaster AWE32 PnP also includes Creative's 3D stereo enhancement technology which produces a richer, more spacious sound, as well as E-mu's 3D positional audio which allows sounds to travel along a positional path, for a more immersive 3D sound experience.
Also singled out for numerous awards were Creative's popular multimedia kits, including the Sound Blaster HomeCD kit, the Sound Blaster Discovery kit series, and the Sound Blaster Edutainment CD 16. This family of products consists of Creative's industry standard Sound Blaster audio cards, Creative's CD-ROM drives, speakers, and a collection of high-quality multimedia software titles.
Creative's ShareVision® PC3000, was also recognized. The ShareVision PC3000 is the only desktop video conferencing product to support cross-platform connectivity between Macintosh and PC computers over a regular phone line. This low-cost videoconferencing solution provides real-time color video, data-sharing, whiteboarding, and audio over a regular telephone line, requiring no special connections.
