What is the Blaster Certification Program?

The new "Blaster Certification Program" (BCP) for Creative Labs encourages software developers to submit their products to Creative Labs to undergo comprehensive testing in order to ensure hardware compatibility.

What are the details of the BCP?

Creative Labs' Registered Developers who wish to claim Blaster Certification and use the new logo can submit their titles to Creative Labs for certification testing. Upon successful completion of the BCP, developers will be eligible to use the new logo, making their products easier to identify for consumers. And better yet, the program costs nothing!

What is this logo?

The logo can only appear on titles that successfully complete the Blaster Certification Program.

What does Creative Labs test in order to determine certification?

The main tests involve interrupts, I/O addresses, DMA channels and other technical issues. Titles should work with all appropriate card settings. There are no subjective tests for quality or playability.

Who can participate in the BCP?
