Craig McHugh Named VP And General Manager For Creative Labs, Inc.

SINGAPORE -- January 23, 1996 -- Creative Technology Ltd. (Nasdaq:CREAF), the leading provider of multimedia products for personal computers, today announced the appointment of Craig McHugh to vice president and general manager for Creative Labs, Inc. (CLI), the U.S. subsidiary of Creative Technology. McHugh will assume responsibilities for all of Creative's retail sales and manufacturing operations throughout the Americas.

The appointment comes as part of a corporate restructuring that moves the administrative, accounting and operational areas for Creative Labs under a new organization and one leadership role. McHugh brings his expertise to the new organization from previously held positions in his two years at Creative. During this time, he was worldwide general manager of OEM business, and most recently the vice president of sales and marketing.

Creative Technology Ltd. develops, manufactures and markets a family of sound and video multimedia products for IBM-compatible PCs. The company's Sound Blaster sound platform enables IBM-compatible PCs to produce high-quality audio for entertainment, educational, music and productivity applications, and has been accepted as the industry standard sound platform for PC-based software.
