Cannot Detect IDE CD ROM Drive In OS/2 When Connected To Secondary IDE port.
Problems:
You may encounter problem of not having your IDE CD ROM drive recognized by
OS/2 when it is connected to your motherboard on-board Secondary port.
Cause:
This problem is due to newer model of IDE CD ROM drives may not be supported
by the older version of the ATAPI CD ROM drivers provided in OS/2 package.
(IBM1S506.ADD, IBMEDECD.FLT etc..)
Solution
You would have to obtain the latest ATAPI CD ROM driver from IBM and install
the driver into your OS/2.
