How to make two Adaptec SCSI controllers work under Windows NT

  1. Install the Adaptec SCSI controller that has a BIOS first.
  2. Start installing NT, select mass media devices, select partition, etc.
  3. Let NT complete the installation.
  4. After final reboot and all SCSI peripherals that are connected to first SCSI controller are working fine, shut down the system and power off.
  5. Add the Sound Blaster 16 SCSI2 to the system.
  6. Restart system.
  7. Once booted, goto "Windows NT Setup", choose "Options", choose "Add/Remove SCSI Devices", choose "Add", from the list choose "Adaptec 151X/152X/AIC 6260/6360".
  8. Shut down and restart NT.
