This software bundle, (w82474en.exe) contains language support for;

English

The ATI SETUP program, checks the REGIONAL SETTINGS in Windows 95/98 to determine which language files to install.

C) PRIOR to USING w82474en.exe

THIS DRIVER SET INCLUDES A NEW SETUP PROGRAM WHICH INSTALLS THE DISPLAY DRIVER WITHOUT INVOKING THE DISPLAY PROPERTIES SCREEN.

THE NEW SETUP PROGRAM MAY TAKE A MINUTE OR MORE TO EVALUATE THE SYSTEM REGISTRY PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE DRIVER. PLEASE BE PATIENT.

D) USING w82474en.exe

1) You must download w82474en.exe and save it to a directory on your systems hard disk. For example C:\temp is a common directory used to initially save a file into. 

2) Once you have downloaded w82474en, close all programs, click the Start button and select the RUN menu item. Click the Browse button. Browse to the directory where w82474en.exe was saved. Select w82474en and click OK to run the program.

3) Follow the instructions on the screen.

1) Start Windows 95/98.

2) Click the Start button. Click the Run menu item. Click the Browse button. Browse to the directory where the files were unpacked after running w82474en. The default directory is C:\ati\support\w82474en

4) Select SETUP.EXE and press OK.

5) Follow the instructions displayed in the help.

E) KNOWN ISSUES:

MULTIPLE MONITORS

WARNING: If you are running multiple displays, in Windows 98, with a combination of 3D RAGE PRO and 3D RAGE II+ display adapters, be sure to install 3D RAGE II+ display driver "w82420en" before installing the Rage PRO driver "w82474en"! 

Be careful the build numbers are very close.
